Steoger's are solid guns for a great price.

Im not really sure what they are going for now, but a few years back I picked up a Browning Gold 3.5 with a 26" barrel for well under that with money left for a case of steel, so just look around, I know up in Michigan, you can find them used for a very reasonable price!

Stoeger and Weatherby both make some great semi-auto shotguns for under $800. Check out the reviews and ask around. These guns are reliable and that's the bottom line. Good luck!

Win SX3. If you shop around you can find one around the $800 mark.

Franchi came out with their Affinity line last year and i can tell you they are PHENOMINAL guns! I have both the 12 and 20 gauge models and have not had one Failure with either one of them. I have run thousands of shells through both with no failure, it is also made in the benelli factory, same inertia design as the M2 with the recoil spring on the mag tube instead of the butt stock. its an M2 400 dollars cheaper!

DuckButts (1/10/2013) Win SX3. If you shop around you can find one around the $800 mark. That or a Stoeger 3500 would be what I would shoot for, me inparticular would be the SX3, I have the SXP so I base that off of that, and there's nothing but good being said about SX3's by their owners. Also the Mossberg 930 is another good one.
Alright

I would take a look Franchi Affinity mentioned above. Buddy of mine has one of the previous designs and its a great gun. This new one should be better.
