What have been up to? Well, to summarize: Made a mistake and ended up pleading to a misdemeanor, despite the vile comments that you may have heard from others. $1000 fine and no time. In the process, learned who my real friends are and who were not my friends, despite everything I'd done for them and then never even asking me what happened. People can be terribly judgmental and cruel, especially one who I thought was a very close friend. Retired from the practice of law and loving retirement. Training business going well; titled another Master Hunter and 5 more lined up to Master title in 2014 (3 clients and 2 of my own). Almost went to Alabama to train all winter (with the current Ohio weather, wish I had - LOL). My old Abe died at 14 1/2 at a hunt test this past August 10. Picking up my new pup today (my Daisy's granddaughter). Met a wonderful woman and we're now engaged. She's into retrievers too. Here's her website:   Looking for a new place to meet both our training needs (hoping to get one we found - 22 acres, 67 run kennel building, outbuilding, nice home overlooking a 3/4 acre pond with some character. Thanks for asking and thanks for the welcome.

In loving memory of Chevy, HR Meglyn's Silverado Slim SH, July 20, 2006 and Belle, HR Meglyn's Blue Ridge Belle MH, July 19, 2008 and HRCH Meglyn's Honest Abe MH, August 10, 2013.

I'm glad you're back, too.  Learned a lot reading your comments about training issues and even traded a few about a certain brand of fruitcake made in Texas.  You take care
